These loop whips are delightfully stingy and don’t require that much effort. It’s been lovingly referred to as a “lazy top” toy, for all the best reasons. There are three variations of this toy, all having to do with what the loop is made of: leather, wire, and braided leather around a wire core. All of them are ouchy in different ways. All feature upcycled handles from old files and rasps. The handles are all sanded, stained, and sealed with beeswax.
